I am so excited about the JAJO Art & Music Expo this upcoming weekend! I've been getting reading for this event for what seems like forever, and I still haven't completed everything! I'm never actually ready for any event because I'm constantly making new art. I never take a break from it. I just keep pumping out new pieces, but I guess an artist never actually completes his or her work but just continues to add to it.Anyway, for all of you who will be in or near New Orleans this Saturday, July 14th, definitely check out the JAJO expo. There are going to be a ton of musicians, artists, and vendors (including me!) there, and I'm sure you will absolutely love it.

I was in New Orleans during that time and I didn't know about that Expo. That would have been even more fun than sight-seeing.

Awww, I wish you would have known about it. It was a lot of fun. I didn't sell much, but I got a lot of exposure and great feedback. The expo was taking place at the same time as the monthly art walk, so a lot of art walkers stopped by the expo on their way to the gallery opening upstairs. I think I'm going to submit a few pieces of my art for the next gallery opening at the New Orleans Healing Center and hope that I get chosen to show my work. It's worth a shot, right?
